Many companies sell electric motors in Türkiye. When prices look similar, the real difference shows in the information the seller gives you and in how the order is handled afterwards. Buying the wrong motor or ordering with missing information can lead to downtime that costs far more than the motor itself.
In this article we have compiled seven questions to ask before working with a seller, and where you can find the answer to each at HEM Motor.

1. Is the price VAT-inclusive, and from which price list?
Whether a price given on the phone includes VAT is often unclear. Also ask which price list date it is based on.
At HEM Motor: Every product page shows the list price dated 24.09.2026 excluding VAT, with the VAT-inclusive amount below it.
2. Are the motor’s technical values provided in writing?
Saying “a 7.5 kW motor” is not enough. Current, torque and speed are needed to select the panel, cables and machine.
At HEM Motor: The electrical and mechanical values of each product are listed on its own page. For example, the 7.5 kW 1500 rpm cast iron motor has a rated current of 14.3 A at 400 V and a rated torque of 49.1 Nm. To compare all power ratings, see the current table.
3. Is there a defined model code?
The model code identifies the motor on its own. When you reorder with the same code, you get the same motor.
At HEM Motor: Each product’s model code appears in the product name, below the photo and in the order message.
4. Do voltage and connection suit your panel?
A motor rated 230/400 V is connected in star on a 400 V network; a motor rated 400/690 V is connected in delta. This difference matters in panels using star-delta starters.
At HEM Motor: The voltage is stated on every product page; the star or delta connection is shown on the nameplate and on the diagram inside the terminal box cover.
