An electric motor does not have a single price. Two motors of the same power can differ noticeably depending on speed, frame material and efficiency class. This page explains what drives the price, gives a few examples from our official list and shows the quickest way to get a quote.
Five things that set the price
Power (kW): the main factor. The HEM Motor three-phase range covers 0.25–355 kW.
Speed (number of poles): delivering the same power at a lower speed needs more shaft torque, which means a larger frame and more copper. A 1000 rpm (6-pole) motor therefore usually costs more than a 3000 rpm (2-pole) motor of the same power.
Frame material: an aluminium frame is available up to 11 kW. A cast-iron (GG20) frame suits heavier duty and costs slightly more at the same power.
Efficiency class: IE3, IE4 and IE5 motors share the same frame system. A higher class needs more active material: a higher purchase price, but lower running costs.
Mounting and options: the standard design is B3 foot-mounted. B5, B14 or B35 flanges, IP56 protection, PTC/PT100 sensors, anti-condensation heaters or a colour other than RAL 7012 / RAL 7024 add to the price.
Example prices (list dated 24.09.2026, excluding VAT)
The examples below are for standard IE3 motors: 400 V, 50 Hz, IP55, class F insulation, B3 foot mounting.
1.5 kW, 1500 rpm, aluminium frame (IE3-90L-4): 6,210.75 TL
7.5 kW, 1500 rpm, aluminium frame (IE3-132M-4): 17,015.25 TL; the same motor in a cast-iron frame: 17,825.50 TL
22 kW, 1500 rpm, cast-iron frame (IE3-180L-4): 41,504.10 TL
55 kW, 1500 rpm, cast-iron frame (IE3-250M-4): 93,247 TL
For other powers, speeds and options we send the price with a quotation. Prices are valid as of the list date; the current price, stock and delivery time are confirmed in the quote.
How does the efficiency class affect the price?
IE3 is the most common choice. On pumps, fans and compressors that run long hours, the extra cost of IE4 or IE5 is paid back through a lower electricity bill. For a 7.5 kW 4-pole motor, for example, the minimum efficiencies are 90.4% for IE3, 92.6% for IE4 and 94.0% for IE5. The number of running hours per year decides which class is more economical.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do electric motor prices change?
A motor price depends largely on the cost of raw materials such as copper, electrical steel and castings. When these costs and exchange rates move, list prices are updated. Even at the same power, speed, frame material (aluminium or cast iron), efficiency class and mounting options change the price.
Do the prices on this page include VAT?
No. The example prices on this page come from our list dated 24.09.2026 and exclude VAT. VAT is shown separately in our quotation.
Do you offer discounts on bulk orders?
Special pricing can be worked out depending on quantity, the mix of power ratings and the delivery schedule. For bulk or project orders, please contact our company with your requirement list.
Is the list price I see still valid?
The example prices are valid as of the list date. Before ordering, always confirm the current price and stock status with a quotation, where the applicable price is stated clearly.
How quickly will I receive a quotation?
Send the power, speed, mounting type and quantity by WhatsApp, phone or e-mail and we prepare and send your quotation as soon as possible. The more complete the information, the faster the quotation is finalised.
