A buyer opening a motor price list usually hunts for one line: "how much is 7.5 kW?" What they find is a range rather than a single figure, and the gap between the low and high end exceeds sixty percent in some rows. That gap is not room for haggling. The same power row covers both a light aluminium-frame 3000 rpm motor and a heavy cast iron 1000 rpm motor. Learning to read the table below also tells you exactly what to specify when you ask for a quotation.
HEM Motor IE3 price list (24.09.2026, excluding VAT)
The table shows the lowest and highest prices per power rating for IE3 three-phase asynchronous motors, based on HEM Motor's list dated 24.09.2026. Prices are in Turkish lira (TRY) and exclude VAT. Each row refers to the standard build: 400 V, 50 Hz, IP55, class F insulation and B3 foot mounting, with 3000, 1500 and 1000 rpm options and aluminium and cast iron frames combined into one range.

Why is the range in one row so wide?
Every power row contains three speed options and, at smaller ratings, two frame materials. The two ends of the range usually come from these combinations:
- Low end: an aluminium-frame 2-pole motor (about 3000 rpm), available up to 11 kW. It fits the smallest frame for its power, so it uses the least material.
- High end: a cast iron 6-pole motor (about 1000 rpm). Delivering the same power at a lower speed takes more shaft torque, which means a bigger frame and more steel laminations and copper.
In the 7.5 kW row, for example, the range of 15,918–26,158 TRY runs from the aluminium 2-pole motor at the bottom to the cast iron 6-pole motor at the top. Physics explains the speed effect: shaft torque is roughly 9550 × kW / rpm. A 7.5 kW motor gives about 24 Nm at 3000 rpm and about 72 Nm at 1000 rpm. Three times the torque needs a noticeably larger machine. The full relationship between poles and speed is in our pole-rpm table. Above 11 kW the list contains cast iron frames only, so the range in those rows comes from speed alone. In some larger ratings the cheapest option is the 4-pole motor rather than the 2-pole one, which is why stating the required speed matters when you ask for a firm price.
What the figures leave out
Each figure in the table is the price of a standard-build motor. The following requests change the price and often the lead time:
- Mounting: B5 or B14 flanges, combined B35 or B34 foot-and-flange versions and vertical arrangements such as V1 or V5 may be priced differently from B3.
- Efficiency class: the list covers IE3. IE4 and IE5 motors are quoted separately.
- Voltage and protection: a 400/690 V winding, IP56 or IP65, or class H insulation all depart from standard.
- Accessories: PTC or PT100 winding sensors, anti-condensation heaters, separately driven fans, special RAL colours.
- Freight: motors are handed to the carrier on the buyer's behalf, and freight is not included in the list price.
How these options affect price is covered in options and accessories and their price impact.
