As technical content editor at HEM Motor, she has nearly ten years of experience in motor technical specifications and structural details. With technical accuracy she explains the durability and heat-dissipation advantages of cast-iron framed motors, the dust and moisture protection provided by IP protection classes such as IP55, and how F and H insulation classes affect thermal endurance. She walks step by step through the rated values on the nameplate, voltage, current, power, speed and power factor, so readers can interpret them correctly. She describes the selection of B3, B5, B14 and B35 mounting types by application, based on foot, flange and combined mounting. Working with the manufacturing team, she prepares clear content that helps buyers confidently select the right motor for their field conditions and mounting needs by reading the technical data.
In a flour mill, the roller mill is the machine that breaks and reduces the wheat step by step; each roll pair's shaft must turn at a speed defined in the mill's flow sheet. In mos... More Details
A cooling tower is a heat exchanger that cools process water or air-conditioning condenser water by bringing it into contact with air. The fan on top of or beside the tower continu... More Details
In reciprocating (piston) compressors the motor is almost always connected to the compressor by belts and pulleys. This arrangement reduces the motor speed to the lower speed at wh... More Details
A 75 kW motor starting with no load reaches its speed in a few seconds; when the same motor tries to set a full crusher, a water-filled pump line or a loaded conveyor in motion, th... More Details
11 kW (15 HP) is a special threshold in HEM Motor's range: the aluminium frame series starts at 0.25 kW and ends exactly at this rating, while the cast iron series continues from 0... More Details
Most electric motors used in industry and everyday life fall into two groups according to the supply they run on: three-phase and single-phase motors. From the outside they look ve... More Details
The torque values below are the catalogue values of HEM Motor’s own three-phase motors. Alongside the rated torque, we also give the starting and breakdown torque in Nm, calculated... More Details
The current values in this table are HEM Motor’s own technical values for the three-phase electric motors sold on our website; they are not a rule of thumb or another manufacturer’... More Details
