exhaust fan motor

How much air a fan moves is decided by its impeller; turning that impeller at the right speed, all day long, is the electric motor's job. This page does not cover the fan casing, b... More Details

Ventilation means renewing the air in a building or plant, removing contaminated air and, where needed, supplying air to a process. The roof extractor on a factory, the jet fan und... More Details

In dust collection systems the fan is the heart of the filter collector: it draws dusty air from the extraction points through bags or cartridges and discharges the cleaned air. Wh... More Details

A wall-mounted axial fan is a propeller fan fitted into an opening in an outer wall or partition, usually carried on a mounting plate or square frame. These fans are expected to re... More Details

An inline centrifugal duct fan is a centrifugal fan connected directly into a square or round duct run, taking air in from one side and delivering it on the same axis at the other;... More Details

A mixed flow fan sits between the axial and the centrifugal fan. Air enters the impeller axially, is directed both forward and outward as it passes over blades mounted on a conical... More Details

In the wheel of a radial straight-blade fan the blades run outward from the hub without any curvature. This simple geometry does not win the efficiency race, but it is one of the f... More Details

The dust collection fan is the heart of a system that draws air from a plant's dust sources, passes it through ducts, a filter and a cyclone, and discharges it cleaned. The same lo... More Details

In a flour mill, air is as important a carrier as the product itself. Drawing heat and moisture out of the roller mills, collecting dust from the sifters and cleaning machines, and... More Details

When choosing the motor for a dust collection extractor, many people treat a dirty filter as the worst case. For radial fans the opposite is true: when the filter is clean or a bag... More Details
