Each frame size is designed for a certain range of motor power and IEC flange. The common pairings given on the product pages of the HEM worm series are:

The range is wider in the helical series: according to the tables on the pages, M-HEM 37–157 and HF37–HF127 frames pair with motors from about 0.12 kW to 90 kW. The table is a starting point; fitting a large motor to the same frame with a high ratio can push output torque above the frame limit.
