Two motors doing the same job can give completely different results at different power and speed. A motor's power decides how much load it can carry, while its pole count decides how fast it turns; the right match between them is what produces the application's torque. In this category we have grouped HEM Motor's own production under power and speed headings, so you can effortlessly find the model that fits your need exactly.

On the speed side, four basic pole structures stand out:

  • 2-pole (about 3000 rpm): speed-priority jobs such as compressors and high-speed pumps.
  • 4-pole (about 1500 rpm): the most common choice for general-purpose applications.
  • 6-pole (about 1000 rpm): medium-speed applications needing higher torque.
  • 8-pole (about 750 rpm): systems that pull heavy loads slowly and powerfully.

On the power side, our sector range runs from 0.55 kW to 355 kW, and our IE4 range from 0.25 kW to 355 kW. In practice, because of roughly 4% slip, the real speed sits slightly below the synchronous speed; accounting for this matters for the right choice. Since a lower-speed motor produces higher torque at the same power, 1000 or 750 rpm are preferred for hard-starting jobs. We can determine together which power-speed combination is most efficient for you.
