Electric motor mounting types are the standard codes that define how a motor attaches to a machine and are critical for placing the correct order. At HEM Motor, we manufacture motors in all mounting types in-house and deliver them directly from stock without intermediaries. Since choosing the wrong mounting code can cause installation mismatches and lost time, this category helps you correctly select the foot/flange configuration for your application. Each application, whether a reducer, pump, fan, compressor or belt-pulley connection, has its own suitable mounting form.

The main mounting types: B3 foot-mounted (attaches to the base via feet under the housing), B5 large flange (footless, mounted via the front flange), B14 small flange (footless) and B35, a combination of feet plus large flange. The frame range is 63–355L for B5 and B35, and 56–160L for B14. All types are offered in 0.55 to 355 kW, IE3/IE4 efficiency class, IP55 protection, Class F insulation and 100% copper windings; at high power (315–355 kW, 1500 rpm) the 355 frame with a Ø100 mm shaft is common in the Turkish market.

  • Correct flange choice for reducer, pump, fan and compressor connections
  • Foot-mounted (B3) solutions suited to belt-pulley and coupling drives
